Be ready when optional Delivery Confirmation on Priority Mail Drop shipment becomes a requirement
Currently mailers are highly recommended to use the electronic option for Delivery ConfirmationTM service on Priority Mail Open and Distribute containers. The USPS® recently proposed new standards for Priority Mail Open and Distribute formerly called Priority Mail Drop Ship. The new standards will require the use of delivery confirmation when using Priority Mail Open and Distribute.

Priority Mail Open and Distribute provides alternatives for mailers who want to expedite mailings of other classes of mail to destination postal facilities. Mailers prepare the mailings according to standards for the enclosed class of mail, enclose the mail in priority mail Open and Distribute containers, and present the mailings to a postal acceptance unit.

All Priority Mail Open and Distribute containers receive expedited handling and transportation. Using Delivery Confirmation helps the mailer to monitor these mailings.

Solution:
Postal Package Partner's Open and Distribute module supports Open and Distribute with Delivery Confirmation. Get on board and take advantage of this program right now, and be ready when the electronic delivery option becomes a requirement.

  • Automate the process of importing the data
  • Create tags
  • Generate manifest and postal statement paperwork
  • Track delivery of item
