TagMaster™ is a sophisticated but easy-to-use solution to facilitate tag-creation needs. This software supports Intelligent Mail® and provides functionality that goes beyond what can be done with other postal container barcode tag printing system.

TagMaster™ can be installed on any type of Windows PC. You are able to print USPS tray and sack tags, as well as pallet placards on-demand. Import tags from Mail.dat® files. Both continuous feed thermal and cut sheet laser printed tags are supported by this product.

Our data entry screens let you create sets of tags with look-ups and pull-downs and store them for reprinting at any time. View the tags in any order and mark only the ones you want to print.

Mail.dat Import

Mail.dat was developed by the IDEAlliance as the industry standard format for exchanging data between mailing software programs. This standard is the only one accepted by the USPS. Most list processors can supply Mail.dat files for jobs that they presort.

With TagMaster, you can print your own tray and sack tags and pallet placards utilizing the data within the Mail.dat file. The Mail.dat import capability, combined with TagMaster’s unique search feature also allows you to quickly reprint groups of tags that may have been damaged or changed since they were originally printed.

Mailers Access the Power of Mail.dat: What Mailers of ALL Sizes Must Know About Mail.dat to Stay Competitive

Many presort programs can produce a Mail.dat® file that describes a mailing based on specifications set by the IDEAlliance®. For years, large mailers have used these files for transportation planning and to create postage documentation that describes what is actually mailed. After presort, larger jobs often are split up into multiple drops or require spoilage adjustments-as a result, the original postal paperwork generated by the presort program does not usually reflect the job that is actually mailed. These mailers bring the Mail.dat files generated by the presort program into a Mail.dat® editing software in order to change the data electronically and produce statements that reflect the final mailing.
